Roy Nathanson has a varied career as a saxophonist, composer, bandleader, actor and teacher. He is leader and principal composer of the Jazz Passengers.
The Jazz Passengers are an American jazz group founded in 1987 by saxophonist Roy Nathanson and trombonist Curtis Fowlkes.
The band grew out of a partnership between Nathanson and Fowlkes in 1987, after the two had played with John Lurie's band The Lounge Lizards. Other regular members include vibraphonist Bill Ware, bassist Brad Jones and drummer E.

Ride Or ?
This is a song I released on the last day of 2021. I want to slow down a second and flashback to the high and low points, even the most mundane days in the past year: like how I feel lucky to just stay alive and healthy over the past two years, and how I feel like every day is "the same pages written over and over". But amidst the uncertainty of life, time moves forward and we just keep rolling and riding on. That is the spirit of this song.
